Details for the side tournament of Smash 4 Doubles at Evo 2015 are here! The event will be hosted by Bear (Las Vegas TO) and CLASH Tournaments. We are proud to announce that among these details, the tournament will be sponsored by Panda Gaming to add a $300 bonus to the prize pool!

Date: Saturday, July 18th, 2015
Time: After Smash 4 Finals at approximately 3-4pm PST.

Buy-In: $40 per team
Cap: 64 teams
100% of the entry goes back to the prize pot

Smash 4 Doubles Ruleset
Game Settings: 3 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, Items Off/None, Equipment Off
Mr. Game and Watch and Sheik may not be used on the same team (details here)

Team Colors: Players’ character colors must match their team’s color when possible, to avoid confusion (Examples: Mario on the red team must use a red costume, Luigi on the green team must use a green costume, Mega Man on the blue team must use a blue costume).

Smash 4 Doubles at EVO 2015 will one double elimination bracket.

All Smash 4 Doubles matches at EVO 2015 are 2/3 except the following which are 3/5: Winners Semifinals (WSF), Winners Finals (WF), Losers Semifinals (LSF), Losers Finals (LF), and Grand Finals (GF).

Note: This means that the same custom sets enabled for singles are also on in doubles.

If the event caps, the prize pool will be:

$2,560 ($40 x 64 entrants) + $300 (Panda Gaming Pot Bonus) + $100 (BDD Pot Bonus) = $2,960!
